Dr. L Biography
Robert E. Levasseur, Ph.D., a faculty member at several of America’s premier online Ph.D. granting universities, teaches traditional and online undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral seminars and courses, and mentors Ph.D. students in the fields of management, human services administration, and public policy and administration.

Dr. Levasseur earned undergraduate degrees in physics and electrical engineering from Bowdoin College and MIT, respectively, a master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Northeastern University, and a master's degree in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. His Ph.D. from Walden University is in leadership and organizational change.

He has taught full and part time for various schools, including Boston University, Anne Arundel Community College, the University of Maryland University College, the University of the Virgin Islands, Walden University, Franklin University, Northcentral University, and the International School of Management in Paris.

Dr. Levasseur’s professional career spans over three decades and includes leadership, management, and organizational change positions in Fortune 50 corporations. He is a registered OD consultant in the International Society for Organization Development and a member of INFORMS, the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences. 

He is the author of numerous articles and books. The latter include Breakthrough Business Meetings, Leadership and Change in the 21st Century, Practical Statistics, Student to Scholar, and Dissertation Research.

A native of Sanford, Maine, Dr. Levasseur and his wife live in St. Augustine, Florida in the winter and spend their summers on the beautiful coast of Maine.
